CILIP/CDG Wales Student Conference at Aberystwyth 16 November 2005

All students, full-time and distance learners, are invited to the Wales
Student Conference at DIS, Aberystwyth on Wednesday 16 November 2005.

1.00pm Free buffet lunch in the Board Room

2.00pm Welcome from Gayner Eyre, Head of Department

2.10pm Introductions: Sue Mace, CILIP Cymru

2.15pm Keynote speaker: Linda Tomos, Director of CyMAL

@ At Your Library project and its impact on libraries in Wales

2.45pm Workshop with Lyndsay Rees-Jones, CILIP, on the role of the

information professional in society

3.30pm Tea

3.45pm Why my sector? A panel of local Library & Information

professionals talk about their jobs and answer questions

5.00pm Finish

In the evening there will be a pub quiz!
